My ePortfolios

One of the first things that all users see when they log into their Digication accounts, "My ePortfolios," is where users can quickly access the the portfolios they've created and those that have been shared with them.

Viewing Your ePortfolios

My ePortfolios is where you'll be able to see all of the ePortfolios that you've created and any ePortfolios which you've been given administrative access to. Simply click on the name of the ePortfolio to begin viewing and editing it.

Filtering 'My ePortfolios'

You may have noticed that there is a text link under "My e-Portfolios," that says "What am I seeing in this current list?" This link will allow you to filter which ePortfolios show up in this section of your dashboard by the following criteria:

Type:

  • Created by me
  • Shared with me
  • My Subscriptions

Permissions:

  • Admin
  • Editor
  • Publisher
  • Viewer

As you filter, ePortfolios will disappear and reappear in real time and save automatically. This feature should make it easy to remove and prevent clutter from accumulating when ePortfolios are shared directly with users as opposed to through courses.

Creating a New ePortfolio

New ePortfolios can be created easily by clicking on the "+" button within My ePortfolios. For more information on the process of creating a new ePortfolio, go toCreating a New ePortfolio

The Show All Button

By default, the maximum number of ePortfolios to be displayed in My ePortfolios is 10. If you have any more than 10 ePortfolios that you've created or have admin rights to, then you'll click on the "Show All," button for them to appear in addition to the 10 already viewable.
