Using Digication in Blackboard: A Student Guide

Using Digication within our Blackboard Building Block is a bit different from what you may be used to. Below is an overview of how to use Digication once your teacher has set is up for use in your course.

Digication Homepage within Blackboard

After navigating to Digication within Blackboard, you'll notice that the look and feel of the homepage area are different from regular Digication, however it still contains the following options/areas:

My ePortfolios (Shared with this course)

This area is where you'll be able to see all of the ePortfolios you've created or have higher than viewer access to.

Show all my ePortfolios

This area is where you'll be able to see all of the ePortfolios created to date.

ePortfolio Assignments

ePortfolio assignments is a new area where the ePortfolio assignments your instructor has created will be found. Click on an assignment title to submit your work in Digication.

All ePortfolios (Shared with this course)

This is where you'll find ePortfolios created by other users (students) that are shared with the course.

Creating an ePortfolio

Click the Green Button with the Plus sign in the "My ePortfolios" area to create a new ePortfolio. Use the suggested title or enter a new title of your own. If your instructor has provided template(s) for you to chose from, select the template you would like to use to complete the creation of your new ePortfolio.
