ePortfolio Theme

A "theme" in Digication refers to the visual look and feel of the ePortfolio. Some schools will create a selection of themes for students to use. However, if your school does not have any themes to choose from, you can still have fun with the look and feel of your ePortfolio by customizing your own theme.

Click on the "Customize" Button Underneath "Default Style"

Select a Directory Icon

Upload an image to customize as your directory icon. You can choose a picture of yourself or photo that's important to you or related to the work you will be sharing in your ePortfolio. This icon will show in your school's ePortfolio directory and will help people recognize your ePortfolio easily.

Once uploaded as indicated in the description, it will automatically be resized to 100x100 pixels. Once your finished uploading your new icon, you can click "Save" and it will appear in all directories.

Change Your Header Image

You can replace your school's default banner by uploading an image that's a maximum of 779 pixels wide and 200 pixels high. Be creative and have fun! If at any time you feel like switching back to the default header you can do so by selecting "Default Header Image," and clicking "Save," at the bottom of the page.

Background Image Repeat

Once an image is uploaded, you can also specify wether or not the image repeats and how it does so. Below are examples of the different types of repeating possible:

Horizontal Repeat

Vertical Repeat

This option allows you to specify where the image starts. For larger images that cover most of the background, they can be centered. But users can also experiment with mixing images with background colors in different configurations with limitless variation.
