Digication 503 Error Wrap-up April 29th

Dear Digication Community,

This morning, some of our users experienced 503 errors when trying to login to their Digication accounts.

Unfortunately, malicious traffic was being sent to our servers at that time. We have triggers in place to notify us of such behaviors and we were able to increase our capacity to handle the incoming traffic. Our engineers also identified the source of the malicious traffic. The server requests did not endanger any content for our users, but they sporadically impacted our users’ ability to login.

The source of the malicious traffic has been blocked and server activity is back to normal, as of 10:00am EST.

We do appreciate your patience during these difficulties and would like to apologize for the frustration our users experienced this morning!
