New Feature: Improved "Make a Copy" Feature for e-Portfolios

Based on user feedback, we're introducing some improvements to our "Make a Copy" feature.

Now you'll be able to choose whether or not to include your unpublished material when you make a copy of your e-Portfolio.

This new option is a time-saver, as it eliminates the need to publish all e-Portfolio pages prior to copying!

Here's what to look for:

Open the e-Portfolio you want to copy.

On your Portfolio Tools menu: Select "Make a Copy"

The "Make a Copy" form will be displayed.

Use the new checkbox to include your draft material. Including the draft material will be the default setting for this feature.

If you prefer to save the most-recently published version of your e-Portfolio, uncheck the box to make an e-Portfolio copy which does not include your unpublished changes. (Very useful when you start to make changes and then remember that you wanted to make a backup!)

Change the title and/or web address, if you wish.

Choosing a new web address is not necessary, as an unique web address will be generated automatically.

Then click the "Go >>" button to make your copy.

Your new e-Portfolio will automatically open - if you have included unpublished content, it will still appear as a draft:
