Improved Administration Statistics

Digication has developed new features that enable administrators to easily view statistical data. 

Administrators can access and start viewing the statistical data by simply clicking on the Statistics menu option in the Administration area. Three tabs corresponding to the three main statistics categories display:: Users, ePortfolios, Courses.

By clicking on the Users tab, administrators can view information about users broken down in the following categories:

User-type Categories:

• Total Number of Users in the institution
• Number of Student Users
• Number of Faculty Users
• Number of Alumni Users

Time of Use Categories:

• Last 24 hours log-in
• Last 30 days log-in

Administrators can view data about ePortfolios by clicking on the ePortfolio tab. The ePortfolio view shows ePortfolio data categorized as a function of creation timeline, pages addition, and  popularity. The categories will display as follows:

Number of ePortfolios Created - along a given timeline

• ePortfolios created since Digication adoption
• ePortfolios created in last 24 hours, 30 days, 6 month, 1 year

Number of ePortfolio-Pages Created - along a given timeline

• ePortfolios created since Digication adoption
• ePortfolios created in last 24 hours, 30 days, 6 month, 1 year

Top 10 Most Viewed ePorfolios per given period of time

• Most viewed ePortfolios since Digication adoption
• Most viewed ePortfolios in last 24 hours, 30 days, 6 month, 1 year

(It is worth noting here that the top 10 most viewed ePortfolios and ePortfolio pages are selected as a function of the following criteria:
(a) the most number of hits; (b) most viewed ePortfolios per hit; (c) the number of modules created).

The Courses tab enables administrators to get information about the number of courses and assignments created with Digication, their respective timelines, as well as information about the number and timeline of assignment submissions. The Courses tab will thus display data in the following kinds of categories:

• The total number of  Digication-supported Courses
• The total number of Digication-based Assignments
• The timeline of assignment creation
• The number of completed assignment submissions
• The timeline of completed assignment submissions
