New Jumpstart Assignment Feature

Digication has developed a new Jumpstart Assignment feature to make creating an assignment in your course super snappy.  Digication system administrators that are interested in enabling this feature for their campus may contact us at support@digication.com to request the addition of this feature. Once enabled here's some information on how this new feature works:

How Faculty Use the Jumpstart Assignment Feature to Create the First Assignment in a Course:

To take advantage of this feature, in a new course be sure the Jumpstart Assignment option is selected in the Course Settings page.

Then click the Create Assignment from Jumpstart Assignment link in the Notification Tab to create the first assignment in the course. See screenshot below.

Jumpstart assignments have pre-built evidence steps students will use to submit their e-Portfolios. It's just that easy!

How Admins Set-up the Jumpstart Assignment Feature for Faculty:

The Jumpstart Assignment feature will be enabled and customized by the school's system administrators. System administrators that would like to enable this feature for the school will add a jumpstart assignment in Admnistration > System Settings.

Select an assignment from an existing course to be used as the jumpstart assignment and then save the settings changes. The jumpstart assignment can include evidence and assessments steps.
